About The Geyer Invitational Fishing Tournament

Join the Legacy. Fish for a Cause.
Since 2017, the Ed Geyer Invitational Fishing Tournament has brought together anglers, families, and friends for an unforgettable day on the water—all in honor of Edward Geyer, a beloved agriculture science teacher, mentor, and community leader who dedicated his life to helping others succeed.
Held annually in Port Mansfield, Texas, this event is more than just a tournament—it’s a chance to compete, connect, and make a lasting impact. Each year, the tournament raises funds to provide college scholarships for graduating high school students and supports the life-saving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Whether you're a seasoned angler or new to tournament fishing, join us in celebrating Mr. Geyer's legacy by casting a line for a good cause. With exciting divisions including Youth and Women’s categories, family-friendly events, and competitive fishing, this is your chance to fish with purpose and be part of something bigger.
Reel in the fun. Support the future. Make a difference.
